Semi-Critical Zone
1.Patient admitted to this zone are partially stable and are likely to become serious in a short period (usually in minutes or hours)
2.Examples of such cases are:
- Body weakness with inability to walk
- Those placed on trolleys
- Injuries to parts of the body, fractured/broken bones or dislocated joints
- Diabetic or uncontrolled hypertension
- Post Convulsion/Fits
3.Doctors will conduct medical examinations and give emergency treatment immediately.This includes laboratory tests,x-ray and referring to other specialised units, if necessary
4.Patient in this zone will be admitted to the wards for further treatments or discharged if fully recoved. Some will be placed in the Emergency Observation ward
5.Waiting time in this zone will be short, usually no longer than 15 minutes
